ignition key wires a different color than new ones

Purchased a new 4 wire Ignition key Switch for my 49cc gas scooter and the colrs of the wires do not match the old ones which are Red, Orange, Yellow and Green. The new key Ignition Switch wiring are -Red, Black, White-Red and White Black. How do I know where each wire goes.

Attn; The on-line store which I purchased from advertised the original colors but sent me the different colors of Black, Red, White-Black, White-Red.

First thing I would do: complain at the online store. If they make advertisement with the original colors, but your delivered part has different ones it can be difficult to connect it. Maybe they already had this problem and have a solution for it.

But if they can't (or don't want to) help you: Check which cabels are connected when the switches are turned to "ON" position (and maybe a second time when it's in "OFF", but probably there will be no connections). Then you can replace a pair from the old one with a pair of the new one.

i gotten a ignition key switch with the color wires as followed yellow with green stripe red black and one that goes to solenoid now i got a new volt regulator with new charge coil but on the volt reg, the color wires are yellow red green pink how to hook them up along with ignition coil its a predator engine anything help cause i cant get spark nothing i adjusted valves several times align with adjusting coil pack several ways with a card feeler gauge etc
