My fan is making a lot of noise.
I need to get a new fan for my computer but am having trouble finding one also how do I take the cover off so I can replace the fan?

Try one of these guides to see if one is similar to your Toshiba. It will help you to get to the fan.
As for finding a fan, try notebookpartsshop.com, eBay or Amazon. I'm sure one is available to purchase.
Also, checkout this forum on loud Toshiba fans.

Thank you I will try to remove fan and give it a drop of oil.

If you change to a new fan then it's best to also clean the core of the CPU with some isopropyl alcohol.

I had a lot of problems opening the computer but did do it and did fix it by just cleaning the fan and oiling it with sewing machine oil I have one screw left over could not work out where it came from.The good thing is it is very quiet now and runs much better.
