After replacing battery device starts ok, but blacks after few secs
After I replaced the battery on my device it appears to work ok for a few minutes. Then however it stops, turns black, and cannot be started again.
After connecting it to wall power and rebooting it, a battery icon shows indicating the power level is about 83%. It then can be rebooted.
After using it for a few minutes the cycle restarts: blacking out & no response.
What could be the problem here?

Sorry, never mind. Mounted the battery in a second identical device, same problem. In both cases replacing original battery solved the problem. Sending it back to supplier.
