Why wont my tablet load web pages or other internet needed programs?

My daughter had just bought me a tablet as a gift for my 25th Anniversary with my wife. I loved it at first, but after 3 days the Internet connection would go in and out. I would try to browse the Web, but nothing would ever load. It would tell me this although my tablet would appear to be to connected on the right top hand corner. The only way it seems to work again is if I do a restart, but after 15 minutes the issue begins reappearing. Any help to this issue would be highly appreciated.
