Hi I have iphone 5s after waterdamage with new battery. Everything is ok except home button, touch id works. After dock and button replacement home button is still not working. Old home button works with another 5s. Where is home button chip on 5s motherboard? What can be damaged?

I found answer. It was FL65 chip on motherboard. Its destroyed by previous owner when removing battery. Its motherboard and need jumper. I will sell this phone asap.

Only thing can be damaged if the phone works is connector of home button or the pins of it. I recommend you to get a dry clean solution and clean the pins and connector of the home button. If it won't fix it, stop by at any pc repair store that has equipment for the water damaging.
Dock motherboard connector is like new, dock is from another iphone and home button 100% ok. Still I have only touch id or nothing with another button. Where is home button ic on motherboard? I have brush and iso alcohol
You just need to do couple hard reset to get the Touch ID back !!!
its a common issue for techs. I don't believe you have any hardware issues.

clean this pin and take your time with it. One or couple pins are not working. I'm pretty sure about it

I have new dock and new home button, I replaced this part you posted and still home button not working. This is something with motherboard?
I don't think it's motherboard if the phone is functioning without home button. It's a connection issue between home button and the motherboard. I would question the dock and the home button.
I have tested 3x home buttons and back housing with original dock from another iphone. Still nothing. I have only touch id with original button (but without button feature). Any ideas?
I have tried third home button from ebay and still nothing. It can be something with bad static or screws? Can anybody help?

The touch ID home button connects to the board via CHARGE PORT assembly. I would attempt replacement of the charge port assembly, BUT spending a little bit more for a charge port assembly can go a long way. You will have a new port, therefore if it is of higher quality it will feel more normal when plugging in the lightning cable.
