Can I install apps via PC for Kindle Fire?

I have restarted and reset my Kindle Fire numerous times. I have reset and restarted my Wi-Fi numerous times and I still cannot get this Kindle to connect to wi-fi anymore.

My son deleted his Minecraft application with the wi-fi off and it's hasn't worked since.

I have tried all solutions I've seen on internet.

If anyone has any ideas to save this Kindle, I'd really appreciate it. I am just short of throwing the device out and never buying an Android device again. My old trusty iPad has never given such grief.

Oh and yes, all our other devices (including another Kindle of same model) still works fine.
