1 How do I fix my Astro A50's mic with a broken swivel?
My A50's mic is broken. The mic is either all the way up, or all the way down. I can also just make it go full circle with no effort.

I opened up my pair of A50's and what hold the mic in is surrounded in plastic (which all broke in mine). That plastic is what allows the mic to stay in place. So you're pretty much screwed. I liquid cemented mine in place until I get a new different headset. I am just as mad as you are about this.

Guess that I will be doing the same as you. Never buying Astro's again. This was a terrible design. Waste of $300
Put a rubber band on the mic at the base so that there is more friction between the mic and the headphones

Mine has done the exact same for some reason it can do a full circle and i can’t speak can I please have some help

I'm gonna be real. Unfortunately, there's truly no way to fix it unless you know how to fix small, thin split wires. Your best bet is to buy a new headset or just get a different mic altogether. You can contact their support and RMA it, but good luck with that too because half the time they never respond. If they do, they'll charge over $100 including shipping to fix it. The headset I had was a gen 2 and I ended up actually just using my Audio-Technica AT2020 USB on my consoles if I needed to chat. I also upgraded to a gen 3 headset and the mic quality on that headset blows so I still use that AT2020 on consoles.
My mic does a crackling sound every time i bring down from facing up in the mute position. would anyone know why this would be, any help would much appreciated.
