Whats the glue used on edges of the touch screen and frame?

I repaired a cracked touch screen (olympus ep5 camera) using the EPL7 guide on ifixit, but in doing so, I had to pry it out of the frame, which had some black adhesive around it. The black adhesive is still kind of viscous (not solid), and its able to hold the screen in...however, I don't think its 'weather proof' anymore... I'd like to know what kind of glue I could use to get the screen secure and somewhat weather sealed again. I've looked up B7000 and E6000 as options, but I feel like theres something else thats better. Itd be a metal to glass application...
