No touch response after a period of time - fine from reboot

Hi, hoping someone can help determine the cause (& solution) to this problem.

I recently had a cracked LCD on my i9505 and replaced the whole display assembly (+ frame) which worked great at first. However, after a little while (hour or so) the touchscreen does no register any touch's. Buttons all work but cannot unlock via touchscreen so have to hold in power to reboot.

After reboot, it works again for a while before always doing the same thing.

I've had a replacement assembly sent, thinking it was a faulty one, but that is also now behaving the same!

So is it something else hardware wise that causes this, or is it simply another faulty assembly?

Any help greatly welcomed! :-)

hey how are you doing. i am sorry that you are going through this. As always you should look at the simplest solution first. you checked the screen which you ordered and you say it is having the same problem. If at all possible try the screen on another phone which you know works and then maybe try a screen from another phone that works on your phone. that way you can narrow down whether it is the screen or maybe your phone. It is possible that one of the connections on the phone or even the logic board is faulty. Hopefully not so. inspect the logic board to make certain that none of the wires or connections are broken. If this were a computer i would also suggest you check the drivers. I hope this is helpful and i hope that the problem is something simple like the screens from that company are just faulty like burn-in failure and a better screen will work just fine. Let me know how it goes.
