LED TV will turn on and I can see the back lights but there is no sound or picture. If I push on screen I can see more of the back lights. There are no cracks or damage to the tv.

I'm having the same problem with my Hitachi LE55A6R9A, have you tried the flashlight test on the screen of your TV? If not Google the term flashlight test on LED and or LCD TV. I troubleshot my power supply board & found it to be bad, I'm going to order my parts from (shopjimmy.com) I will be buying the TV repair kit rather than just the power supply board, because of the price savings, $75.00 dollars for the kit, $50.00 bucks for the power supply board, you get all 3 boards in the kit, also i will know all 3 boards are new.
If you can't see a faint picture when doing the flashlight test, then it's probably going to be the LED/LCD strips. Check to see if you get a faint picture, and at the same time you can check to see if you can see any light from your LED/LCD lights, to check your LED's, turn off all the lights in the room, turn TV on & look though the vent holes in the back of the TV for any light, I hope this helps you Frank,

priyantha kirillage you need to properly identify your TV's make and model. We do not need the serial number.
