Xbox 360 made long beep out of nowhere like a computer why?

My Xbox 360 kinect console out of no were did a long beep ( like a computer ) wile i was watching netflix but nothing happend, my show kept on playing like normal. My console has never done that kind of noise before, and just a few weeks ago it started kicking me out of some games without warning or error message. One moment I'm playing campaign, the next I'm on the xbox dashboard like if nothing happened.

( Not frozen and still connected to xbox live ) why do both of these things happen to my Xbox 360 ? I've had this xbox for a few years now with out any problem till now. I've tried standing up the xbox but it still kicks me out of the game with no error message or freezing, ( Ive always had it laying down ) but the beep I've heard just started recently, why dose my Xbox 360 do this? What can I do to fix it?
