How Can I Fix My Volume Button?

I tried to open the back of my phone when I accidentally dropped my phone in the toilet. When opened the part of the back of my phone where the volume is a part of my volume button went down a little bit. It slid out of it's place for the inside of my phone. I put it back into it's piece and now when I try to turn the volume up on my phone I have to use my nails and put pressure on it just for the up part of the button to work. Can anybody help me fix my volume button?
