Screen NOT turning on after Screen Replacement

Hello Everyone, First time coming across this website and figured it wouldn't hurt to ask and hopefully someone will be able to help me figure it out. So here is the problem.

I am replacing a screen of the Ipad as it was cracked. The screen worked completely fine before i tried to replace it. I have it taken off and connected the new screen onto it. I then realized i didnt turn the ipad off so when i tried to turn the screen on when it was connected, it wasn't turning back on at all.

I tried doing the hard reset by holding the home button and power button. I also plugged it into a computer and it recognizes it as a ipad and that is all i did with that. I don't have a clue what is wrong and would REALLY appreciate the help as i need this fixed. :(

Thanks,

Austin

If turning the iPad off and back on again doesn't fix the problem, or the iPad is unresponsive when you try to turn it off, you have to reset it by doing the following: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

I have already tried doing a hard reset by trying to press the two buttons. is it because the home button isn't working or something? I haven't put the screen back on yet

The Digitizer may not be making contact with the actual button on the iPad. Perhaps try holding down the power button then using your Thumb to press the button instead of using the actual home button?

Just do step 42 and 43 and reassemble it again and try powering it on.
