Everything is large after screen replacement.

Hello, I broke the screen for my HP Envy laptop and now I've properly replaced it with another I purchased, which can be seen below:

The issue is everything on the screen is larger than what I previously had with the old screen, I've tried many methods to fix this but none have worked so far. I believe the issue might be that I've misread and made the mistake of buying the 1366x768 screen instead of a 1920x1080 resolution screen ...

Any input would be greatly appreciated before I go through the pain of taking my laptop apart again and having to get yet another replacement, thanks!
