Ink Cartridge Replaced Ink Light will not go out

The Light Cyan Ink Cartridge red light came on indicating it was low on Ink. I replaced the Cartridge with authentic Epson Ink from Epson. Followed directions in user manual for ink replacement. Ink Cartridge light will not go out. Printer will not print. Help.

Try cleaning (with the machine unplugged) the electrical contact points on the printer and cartridge where the cartridge contacts meet with a Q-tip dripped in alcohol.
