Flip Mino: Video discoloration with static lines

Bought a used Flip Mino on eBay. It started out great for 2 days. Suddenly, the videos have gone pink/green in color. It's almost like a terrible "filter" is in use but there isn't one. Also, there are strange white "static lines" in the video. I was told by one repair guy (who had never worked on a Flip Video camera) to see if the issue was with the screen or in the video. It's definitely in the video. So, how can I get this thing to work properly? I love the way it works... when it actually works.
