How to replace the magnetic lid switch

I have a X501X.

The magnetic switch which detect when you close and open the laptop has stopped working.

Because this switch fails the laptop does not turn on the display and it shutdown when I try to restart it.

The lid switch is placed on the PCB on the upper left corner where the power cord is connector is placed.

As I can see the part number of the switch is X31A.

But I am not able to find it anywhere.

If somebody knows where to find a spare part I can use or how to disable this switch function, this will help me a lot.

I have Ask ASUS but they just told me to go to a repair shop.

But as an Electronic Engineer I would feel a little stupid if I am not able to replace a simple component my self.
