I need a way to hard reset Zenfone 2 with paperclip jumpers?

My Zenfone 2 seems to have malware that won't let screen come on. It won't restart, or reset using volume up key & power. If I could disconnect battery without voiding warranty I think it would fix it. Is there a way to use a paperclip and service holes to temporarily reset or disconnect battery?
