XPS 1810 battery drains 7% every 24 hours.
I've got Dell XPS 1810 with i7 and 8Gb RAM onboard. OS: Win 8 64bit.
One day I noticed that the battery lost about 9% of its charge in 24 hours when the computer was properly shut down. No sleep mode, no hibernation. Just correct shutdown.
On 1 Dec 2015, Dell-authorized repair shop replaced the battery. It is now a brand new Dell battery, part D10H3. But the discharge issue is still there, now the discharge rate is 6-7% in 24 hours when the computer is properly shut down (no sleep mode, no hibernation). This charge loss is not related to the charge needed to boot up the computer, since when I leave it for 3 days (1 day = 24 hrs.) and then turn it on, the charge loss is 3 x 6-7% = ~20%
I am sure it is not normal. After 15 days of not being in use the battery would drain to zero. And it cannot be easily removed from the computer, it is an integrated battery.
What is this problem all about? Battery replacement has not solved it.

Hello and thank you.
This machine runs under Windows 8.
I tried hard shutdown before (holding down the power button), but it never helped. The same draining. In fact, no matter what I did, there is battery draining as I described. Sorry, don't know about hibernation or sleep mode battery use, I never used those modes.
