Disabled And Want To Keep Pictures

I have a disabled IPad Mini and I know that you have to force it into recovery mode but I have never back it up,synced it to a pc,or to itunes,or Icloud so how can I save the pictured?

how did it become disabled? sometimes you can clear disabled mini by connecting it to a WiFi that it has already been connected to before. you will have to know the passcode
