Right now the most important thing is to dry it out. I hate to ask this question but was the toilet clean? I mean urine or other things can erode circuitry. If it was clean and it was just water then just let it dry for a couple or three days.

In the past I've helped friends rescue phones that inadvertently took a swim, including some that were never "meant" to be opened up by customers.

I just watched a couple of tear-down videos for the Droid Turbo 2. Doesn't look any worse than others I've opened, including a couple of iPhones and my old LG G2.

My suggestion: find a couple of teardown videos and watch them to get a feel for the procedure. Make sure you have the right tools (Torx T3 I believe) and some spare adhesive to reattach the back -- it appears to be a very sticky and thin double-sided adhesive tape, and I've seen a couple of sources selling replacement backs already along with the adhesive tape.

Once opened, you can separate the back, front and mid-chassis, and remove the battery and mainboard. If it were my phone - I'd do all of that, separating at least those sections and laying them out to dry.

If you don't purchase a phone drying kit, I recommend putting some uncooked rice in a shallow baking dish in the oven (at about 250 degrees F) for perhaps half an hour to make sure it's moisture content is even lower than that of the surrounding air. While the super-dried rice is still warm (but not hot!!!), I'd bury the various phone parts in it and then leave them there for a 2 to 3 days before attempting to reassemble the phone.

Following this general approach I've rescued a number of phones that had been given up as dead after they took a swim. Definitely worth a try!
