How do I fix the Red Ring of Death?

I have had the red ring of death for my Star Wars Xbox 360 Slim Limited Edition (Xbox 360 Slim) for more than a week and still have found no solution. I have been trying strategies day after day and still nothing that works. I need someone that has had the same problem on the same console and got it fixed without sending it to Microsoft and having it get fixed. PLEASE HELP

Xbox Gamer, consider to check this video for some decent explanations about the how etc.. This video shows one more trick you can try. If none of that works, use these guides open your console and clean the airvents properly of all collected dust and debris, change the thermal paste and try it out. If none of that works you may need consider a reflow or better a reball.

Reballing is not worth it for an Xbox 360 unless you do it yourself, but a reflow is less expensive and easier. If the reflow doesn't work, you need to replace either your motherboard or the entire unit insides (to keep your special edition shell). May God bless you and your family today!
