I have replaced my iPhone 3G battery but now the battery also drains too fast and when I'm using it while charging it goes down the battery charge too.
What seems to be the problem?

If the phone gets physically hot while the battery is draining, there is a process in the OS that won't stop running. In my case, it was the push mail daemon which kept the cellular radio on constantly. Reloading the OS fixed the issue for me.

what do you mean reloading the OS?rebooting or reformatting??
it don't get hot.and when its charging it takes long too fully charge the battery.
