Why is the fan in my computer making loud sounds?
The fan in my computer has been making loud whirring sounds and I do not know how to fix it or prevent it from continuing to make sounds.

Its probably full of dust . When a fan gets dirty it becomes unbalanced and starts to make noise. Get a can of compressed air and blow it through the exhaust vent. Blow air both ways through the fan intake and exhaust until no more dust is seen. Take care when using caned air to not tilt the can

The fan might have dust building up causing the fan to stop and start repetitively. The fan could also be overheating. If this is happening it needs to be cleaned out.
