phone left in cold is not switching on

I left my phone in the table during cold weather.Now its not switching on.I've tried charging,taking out the battery,power button to no avail.Its a one year old phone.Help me.

Avni Sharma you did not tell us how cold it was. If the phone received no other damage, I'd definitely start with a new battery.
