Dear all,
I just bought a new One Touch Idol 3, and after approximately 6 hours of charging (with the original charger) nothing happens when I try to start the device. Hard reset (power + volume up) etc. hasn't produced anything either. Suggestions?

AFAIK, the very first boot (white animation + phone temperature rising noticeably) may take up to an incredible 10-15 minutes delay. Be patient and, meanwhile, connect the power supply. If nothing new happens after 15 minutes, then return the phone for repair.
Please note - here, I'm only talking about the 5.5" version (aka TCL-6045). The 4.7" may behave differently.

My phone wouldn't turn on, but your suggestion of hard reset solved my problem, thank you so much! I think I downloaded something that messed with the software booting up properly, since I can't think of anything physical I did wrong to it.

cant open my alcatel one touch idol3...

Hola mi alcatel pop no enciende, pero todo el tiempo tiene encendido el LED indicador de carga, aunque no se este cargando la batería. Saludos!
