Why is the screen flickering and turning pink?

Ive dropped my phone in water by accident but i immediately took it out and dried it before leaving it in a tub of rice for two days. Ive tried switching it on a few times and the sound does work and so does the Led light but the screen keeps flickering and turning into pink colours. What can I do try and fix it or is it damaged beyond repair?
