Why won't the machine start?
We have a Kenmore Top Load washing machine (W10338648) The sensing light flashes, but the wash won't start!? No clue what to do. I've tried cancelling out of the wash, and restarting it - No Luck. I've tried leaving it unplugged then starting again - No Luck. I've tried adding more laundry (making it heavier) - No Luck.

I did a little more research on my own and found the actual model #... 11021252112...
I got into the diagnostics and found a couple of error codes, but couldn't find the error code cheat sheet anywhere - so I gave up!
I ended up leaving it unplugged for 15 minutes, and when I plugged it back in - it worked as usual!

Marcelo C double check the number you gave us. W10338648 comes back as the control panel for a Whirlpool washer. It is easily possible that your Kenmore is actually build by Whirlpool, but there should be a different model number.
