joshbarber89 I recognize this is an old question. Having just gone through one of these I thought I could at least answer for the next person with this TV. Problems with the display appearing dim and washed out looking as well as a poor black level is usually caused by a bad main board (“one of my hdmi ports doesn't work” more evidence of that) . The issue with this particular model Samsung TV is that they had capacitor issue on the power board which Samsung even had to pay a settlement. So you’d be looking at the main board first, then power board after that you would have to check the voltages on your Z-sus board. Lastly, a bad panel can give the same symptoms.
