Why is my keyboard not connecting?

I've already tried charging my keyboard from the device battery, the battery shouldn't be the problem. It seemed to stop working after I updated to Windows 8.1. Any help?

If the keyboard stopped working after 8.1 update. It is most likely due to the system settings have been reset. The problem is most likely the filter key function. To fix this, disable the filter key and restart the device. For more details please visit this Trouble Shooting Page .

Check in device manager to see if your keyboard drivers are installed, most likely Windows is struggling to find your drivers. Might be a good idea to go to the manufactures website and download and install the latest version of drivers.

Anyone owns TAP 11 should follow instructions below. (Tested with SVT112A2WM with Windows 10 x64 bit)

Download and start the Pairing Tool (https://www.sony.com/electronics/support...) (it says 32bit but it worked with my 64bit windows 10) (YOU CAN GOOGLE ep0000605002.EXE FILE IF THE LINK ABOVE DOESN’T WORK)

Click Pairing (YOU WON’T SEE A "Starting pairing (** seconds left)…….." MESSAGE AS SONY SUGGESTED. DON’T WORY AND CARRY ON AND PLEASE IGNORE ANY DIRECTIONS YOU SEE ON THE PAIRING TOOL MAIN WINDOW)

Turn OFF the wireless keyboard

Press CTRL + Esc

Turn ON the wireless keyboard

The battery light will flash and the Caps Lock light will flash 4 times and the keyboard will pair.
