Replaced Front panel on iPad 4
I replaced a shattered front panel on my wife's iPad 4 this weekend. However when I was finished the display would not turn on. I connect the iPad to my computer and it was recognized but still no display.
When I opened it back up to see what connection may have come lose. I found that the LCD cable clip had come off during reassembly. How do you get this clip back on? I read about the tape/cutting a small piece of screen protector to wedge in with the cable but it didn't work. Is their another fix to keep the cable tightly connected without reinstalling the clip? Or do I need to buy a all new ribbon connector?
