Cannot install OS X on my new SSD Hybrid

Hello,

I have a mid 2011 MBP 13" and I recently purchased a 1 TB SSD Hybrid 2.5" Hard Drive from the site to replace my 320 GB HD. My goal was to clone my original HD to the new HD using the steps given on the site and using super duper. After my first attempt it seemed like it worked, but when I tried to restart the system using my new HD I received an error icon during bootup (question mark folder on grey screen). I tried to reformat the HD and re-clone my original HD and I experienced the same issue. Coincidentally during this time, my original HD just took a dump, giving me the only option to boot from the OS disk and install OS X (unfortunately, I didn't back up the entire system to my external HD, only my user files). I booted up using the disk and used disk utility to format the HD before the install. For some reason the install fails to finish though and I am lost on what to do.

He brother, best thing to do before any of these steps is to to a time machine backup, then while the original drive is still in it create a boot media if you dont have one already Link:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201372

Then connect the new HDD via USB, connect the boot media via USB, or if u have a CD that will work too

Next you reboot your PC, and hold the option key choose to load your boot media, then when it boots go to disk utility and clone your original drive to your new drive

A few things you might check to make sure that everything is correct, when formatting your new drive you are creating the GUID partition table correct? and also using the mac OSX extended journaled?

If you have backed up your user files you might try to repair what is wrong with your orignial drive by doing a disk verify and permission verify and see if u can get it booting to it and then start the steps that i described before
