The phone won't boot and won't charge

hi my name is aymen,i live in germany and last week i dropped my lg g3 in the pool for about 5 minutes,so i searched for a repair on the internet and i found one for the g3 using alcoohol to clean it.i applied the fix and got a new battery,the phone won't boot and won't charge but somtimes i get a red notification light start flashing

so any idea will be much hopefull because i just bought my phone

The red light normally indicates a battery issue. In your case it could be a bad battery. If it still doesn't boot up or even vibrate then it could just be non-repairable. I work for a electronics repair company and water damage is always a gamble when trying to revive them.

Unfortunately when a device gets water damaged it can cause some of the components on the circuit board to fail. It can sometimes be quite a lengthy process figuring out which ones they are.

You really need specialist equipment. The best way is to look under a microscope to see if there is any noticeable damage and then check those components. You can also apply power to the board and see if any components are heating up, this will also confirm if there is a short.

But obviously this is all hard to do from home and like with all water damage it might not be possible to get your phone working 100% again.
