HI i was wondering i know you can upgrade the cpu of the iMac late 2012 27" to the 3770 ivy bridge, but since the socket is the same can you upgrade it to the 4770 haswell?

I would like to know that myself…
Got a 2011 and was thinking in getting the 2012 just to have Mojave as even the dosdude version ain’t supported on my video card but if I can also get the i7 4770 it would be MUCH better…
