Why is my iPhone's display showing up as a barcode thing?

I dropped my phone and now when I turn it on it shows up as a barcode looking thing instead of my lock screen. How can I fix this?

I suspect the barcode looking thing you're seeing is a damaged LCD. Otherwise there's not anything that would display a barcode.

If you've got vertical lines in the display that won't go away its likely safe to assume you need to replace the display on your phone.
