1 powering up go pro hero 2
have ad hero 2 for several years, never an issue. lately when powering on full battery it does not power up. occasionally it does, but when i turn off i am unable to turn back on again. have replaced battery but this has not helped. advice? thank you

try the freezer method. My theory is the membrane button that these use seems to lose its conductive diaphragm against the metal contacts. the freezer (or dehumidifier effect) seems to correct this by pulling moisture out of the switch. Give it a shot: I pulled the battery first then froze it over night, took it out, loaded battery and it started right up.
