Can the fan be secured to the floor.
I have a. Dental waiting room. The room needs a fan. I am worried that it could be stolen if not fixed to floor.

How about boring about three holes in the bottom plate and ceiling mount it in a corner.

No! If you attach a cable to it and secure it to the wall, the fan can be taken apart which it is connected together in 3 pieces. You have the tower, motor, and motor circle base. So someone could just steal the motor and the circle base then you would be left with the tower. The tower can be purchased on eBay and the other parts!
