Why can't I charge or connect to itunes? Device was water damaged.

So I recently repaired a water damaged iphone 5s successfully.

Besides the fact i can't charge it or connect to itunes without a "network error" popping up.

Is it just the charging port or are some other things wrong?

Jay Ws, depends on how diligent you were when you cleaned it. Based on " i can't charge it or connect to itunes" I would suggest a new Lightning connector. Use this guide
