Is it possible to fix water damaged note 3 after 1 year?
Story was 1 year ago. I have my note 3 dropped into soap water, i went to a shop, they told me it irreparable. Thus, i changed a new phone, until this few days i noticed it is possible to repair it(how stupid i'm), but it's 1 year back. is it possible is can repair it? any part that is expected to damage after left for 1 year unused?Sorry for my poor english.

Can i clean everything with isopropyl alcohol? is there any part that cannot contact with isopropyl? thank you

Do i need to submerge the screen into IPA? or just logic board and charging pot part?

Hi there, it might be, Have you had a chance to take a look at the logic board? Check for corrosion first. Use the ifixit guide to get to the components Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Repair Take a couple of good picture of the board and attach those to your question so we can see what you see. You will definitely need a new new battery.

Hi Dylan, it could be repairable depending on the extent of damage. If you are extremely lucky and the damage is very superficial and/or limited, then cleaning the board may bring it back to life. However, after all this time I do believe components must have deteriorated, but could be clearly visible (usually they are on a Samsung board). And they could be replaced with the right tools and skills. Although those may be out of your scope, but some pros can do it. If too many things are damaged such as screen + connectors on the board + many components on the board + major chips/IC's + the battery, then it could be theoretically feasible but not economically. As you said, the place to start is taking apart your phone and posting good quality pictures of both sides of your logic board. Pictures taken with your phone will not be helpful. Get a good camera.
