kicks me off the internet while browsing

Hi my kindle will just kick me out of a games or off the internet for no reason. It's been doing it for about a mouth now. It's 3 years old and has never been drop or miss handle in any way. It sometime will get a little warm above the usb port, but not always. Is there a fix for it. Thanks
