After replacing screen no display

After replacing the screen on an att iPhone 6 I have no display and when it's plugged in it keeps making the "just plugged in" tone every 10 seconds or so. I put the original screen back on and still the same. I tried resetting but never saw the apple logo.

iPhone 6 long screw damage = no backlight. This is the same as the iPhone 5s blue screen of death problem. Mixing up the screws for the LCD bracket means overtightening one and causing damage to the traces underneath. This is an extremely difficult board repair, but it can be done.

Jessa is correct here, if you put the long screw anywhere but the upper right of the shield, you will damage the board. Hard to fix, but doable.

The noise is likely it pinging you for your input.

Start by opening the phone and disconnecting the battery. Then reconnect it. Turn the device back on. Anything happen? Does the backlight (back of the LCD) light up? If not, check the connector on the logic board where the LCD plugs in. Are any pins damaged or bent? If so, fix them.

What happens when you connect it to iTunes? Does iTunes recognize the phone? If not, try a DFU restore. Plug the phone into your computer and open iTunes. Turn the phone off, hold power for 3 seconds, while holding power hold home as well for 10 seconds, release power but keep your finger on the home button. iTunes should pop up with a message about a phone in recovery mode. Choose restore and restore the software.
