Why is my Battery is discharging very quickly?

i have an iPhone 5c that worked great until I did a firmware update from 8.1.1 to 8.2, now the battery drops 10 percent in 30 mins to an hour. I have to keep charging it, yet it takes like 3-4 hours to charge, I installed a brand new high capacity battery and replaced the lighting usb assembly port. and still the same problem, does anybody know the cause of this?

This the troubleshooting order I would follow:

1. Try a new battery

2. Reset software

3. Replace U2
