Broken screen hinge on a MB990LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop

Hello folks,

Good morning. Got this MB990LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop on a garage sale, pretty cheap.

Laptop works perfectly, but has this nasty crack on it. Any ideas if this can be repaired?

This is a nasty issue... My idea would be to follow the guide that I will include with the post and stop at the point where the display henge is removed. Maybe you could somehow get a new display henge. I've never tried this or had much experience with display repair, but I would look into that.
