4 New battery. Works. mins. after, only battery error message appears
Recently, our old iPod 3G went "dark" At almost the same time, our 4G iPod also went dark. I replaced the iPod 4G Battery with no issues. (so far so good) After replacing the 3G Battery (same supplier, different battery), it came to life but minutes later, it failed. When trying to restart, the screen comes up briefly with a battery warning icon screen. It will not charge on original Apple dock (or any other charging source)
This happened with TWO different batteries. Despite this, I STILL believe it is the battery since the iPod works for a few minutes with the new batteries before the issue comes up.
Suggestions?

I am also having the same problem. I replaced my battery and it worked for a while and then just died and is now displaying the battery warning message when I plug it in.
