Why keyboard keys 1 to 7 not working?

I bought a macbook pro last year and after a few months the HDD gave away so it was replaced and everything was fine.

Recently I changed houses and after a few days the number keys 1 to 7 stopped working. I could still use them by pressing them repeatedly and forcefully. But even that responding after a couple of days.

Then one day suddenly all keys started working perfectly for a single day. and now no matter how hard and fast you press the keys aren't responding.

P.S. the day the keys all worked again was a warm day, and previously the weather was chilly which is unusual for this part of the world. Do you think an corrosion from condensation has occurred?
