keeps kicking back to home page when on internet

I have a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, I have had it a couple of weeks. I haven't done a great deal with it, but every time I try and load anything form the internet it constantly kicks me back to the home screen. Whether just browsing or playing games sometimes the page half loads, but the keypad doesn't come up other times I am scrolling through a page and back it goes to the home screen, I do not think it is a connectivity issue. I have also noticed some glitching when using the calander fro example loading an event on one day and it ends up on a different day. I previously had a nexus and didn't experience any of these issues, is it fixable or does it need to go back?
