Sim ejector arm stuck in wrong position, how to proceed?
Hello iFixit,
I bought a banged up iphone to repair it into perfect condition. In this I was successful, but now I can't eject my sim-card tray due to the rocking arm that was in the wrong position when I put the tray in.
If you're unsure as to what this is; it's the arm that pushes the tray out, when you push on the other end with the tool or a paperclip. Since it's already fully depressed it doesn't act upon the sim-card tray. Now I haven't found a screw that fits properly as the most "upvoted" suggestion suggested and other methods doesn't work.
Since the tray is connected to the motherboard, I can't disassemble the phone to correct the mistake and thus I'm stuck at the end of a blind road.
