Why doesn't my kindle recharge?

There are three main components that can cause this type of issue.

The battery within your tablet, the charge port on the tablet or the charging block itself.

Your next step is to find out which.

If when you charge the tablet and the charge lasts way shorter than it used to then you're battery may be the culprit and will need to be repalced.

If when you plug in the the tablet you no longer recieve the audio and/or visual indecation of charging the issue will be with either the charge port or you're charging block.

At this point the most economical step is to replace charging block.

If the issues continues then you may need to replace the battery or the charge port.

My guess is the charge port. But I'd need more info about the symptoms to give an more definitive answer.
