Lighting port movement on iPad Air 2 & none on iPad 4

Just got the new iPad Air 2 which replaces my iPad 4

My ip4's Lightning port did not have any movement whatsoever (built like a tank) my iPad Air 2 has a little bit of movement (not a loose connection) up, down, left, right wiggle room ... The actual opening seems a bit larger than the 4 - I'm wondering if during your recent tear down if you noticed these things as well & if you'd consider them normal ? I'm perhaps being a bit OCD as it doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart & also my iPod Touch 5 is the same way as my Air 2 ... The speaker vibration could be worse & maybe they just made it "too" thin -- I loved the build quality of my ip4, just felt like quality & this does too .... But I feel I have to baby it ...
