I have a Macbook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2010 that was dropped. I have to replace logic board, and I was wondering if a newer board (Early/Mid/Late 2011) would work.
Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade?

Generally you can swap out logic boards between systems within the series. In your case the MacBookPro7,1 series. So that only gives you a choice between a Core 2 Duo 2.4 or 2.66GHz board.
Sadly, the newer i5 logic boards are laid out very differently I wouldn't risk the costs or effort.
Are you sure the logic board is the issue here? Can you give us some more info on what you have tested and what the system is doing currently. Maybe there is a better solution.

The Mac turns on (sounds) but nothing is visible on the screen, it's in black, and via thunderbolt connection neither.
